Temporary pay practices related to COVID-19 referenced below apply to full-time and part-time (greater than 50% FTE) benefit eligible staff unless otherwise defined.
Temporary work-at-home arrangements will continue until further notice and a phased return to campus will occur when it’s deemed safe to resume operations. Technology Work from home stipends related to COVID-19 temporary arrangements will also continue until further notice. Please log in to Workday and continue to complete the COVID-19 Telecommute Arrangement for each week that you work from home. Detailed information about managing leave during the coronavirus, for all campuses, can be found on the COVID-19 Total Rewards (Pay and Benefits) webpage under the "Recording Time in Workday and Kronos" section. If you have an employee who will be out on leave or furlough, please direct them to set an automatic out of office reply in Outlook using the recommended text below. --

Yes. Employees who are asked not to come to work due to COVID-19 exposure will have to be cleared by their health care provider and also notify the UHealth hotline at 305-243-8378. The hotline is available weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is staffed by UHealth nurses who can provide guidance. Employees who are required to self-isolate for a period of 14 days must also contact their HR Partner.
HR strongly encourages hiring managers conducting candidate interviews for critical positions to do so through our existing video conferencing technology.
